Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app. Tap the profile tab. Scroll to Delete Account. Confirm twice. Everything (saved scholarships, drafts, invite code) is permanently erased.

A scholarship link is dead. What do I do?

Scholarship websites change all the time. If a link is broken, search the scholarship name on Google. Most listings exist on multiple platforms (bold.org, scholarships.com, the sponsoring organization's own site).

How does the AI essay generator work?

The AI uses your profile (school, GPA, major, extracurriculars) and the scholarship's specific prompt to draft a response. You can regenerate individual sections or the full essay. The output is a starting point. You should always edit it to sound like you before submitting.

How do I cancel Pro?

On iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Clover Pro → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → Profile → Subscriptions → Clover Pro → Cancel.

How do invite codes work?

Every user gets one permanent 7-character code in the profile tab. When someone signs up with your code, both of you get 7 days of Clover Pro added to your accounts. Codes never expire and have no redemption cap.

Why don't I see ads if I'm on Pro?

Pro users skip all ads and rewarded-video gates. If you're a Pro member but still seeing ads, force-close the app and reopen. Subscription status refreshes on app launch.

My deeplink isn't opening the app.

Make sure you have the latest version of Clover installed. On iOS, the first time you tap a Clover link, you may need to long-press and choose "Open in Clover."
